List of Ambassadors of the United Kingdom to Rwanda
The British Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda opened in 1995. On Rwanda's accession to the Commonwealth in 2009, the British Embassy became the British High Commission. The current High Commissioner from the United Kingdom[1] to Rwanda is Benedict Llewellyn-Jones OBE[2], since January 2011[3]. He is also the Ambassador to Burundi. The High Commission is located in the Kacyiru area of Kigali, immediately opposite the Laico Hotel[4].
